Hotel customer service training is needed at many hotels. I’ve noticed that some hotel employees are poorly trained and not delivering basic customer service. One exception is a wonderful employee, Telakia Martin, who works the front desk at the Fairfield Inn in Fenton, Michigan.
Telakia greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly “Hello”. When I asked about good places to eat in the area, she pulled out a sheet of area restaurants and offered her helpful insight. She could not have been nicer! I even gave her an autographed copy of my book Smile: Sell More with Amazing Customer Service!
Telakia is a stellar employee and the type of person you want as the front line team member greeting your guests. First impressions are everything in business and in life. Telakia makes a powerful first impression with her smile and warm personality.
Good manners are essential when in hotel customer service training. Telakia has excellent manners and great people skills. She does everything taught in my book! Thank you Telakia for making my visit so memorable.
