Job Skills for Special Education Students

Job skills for special education students include many critical people skills. The following is a partial excerpt from the section, PRACTICE PROPER BODY LANGUAGE, in my book Smile & Succeed for Teens: Must-Know People Skills for Today's Wired World:

HERE’S HOW
• Look straight ahead and maintain good eye contact.
• Avoid looking down.
• Stand up straight.
• Look alert and approachable. Leave your arms open at your sides (not crossed).
• Respect people’s personal space. Recognize their comfort zone by noticing how far away from you they stand.

If you are looking for job skills for special education students, be sure and check out my book Smile & Succeed for Teens. From learning how to make eye contact to the proper way to shake hands, Smile & Succeed for Teens includes all the must-know people skills to help students excel.
